back in the motherland...

so, i spent my first official weekend back home... i have to admit that it wasn't as bad as i first thought it would be. now, i'm back to the full-time grind: traveling for work.

weekend highlights:

• finally watched district 9.
  
• bday party.
  
• claim jumper.
  
• played with cloudy (our pitbull)
  
• caught up with friends.
  
• game night with the fam.
  
• home shopping with the bf.
  

on the flip side, it's horrible to come back home and find socal burning. my heart goes out to all those affected by the fires and to the families of the brave firefighters who lost their lives in the process.
